Indigenous Skills Based Director
Tim Horan joined the Apunipima Board in 2020. Tim’s career has spanned more than 29 years in the Community Services Sector in both government and non-government organisations. His career began in the New South Wales Police Force and most recently as an Executive Manager and Chief Executive Officer of Aboriginal Medical Services in North Western New South Wales and Greater Western Sydney.
Tim has served as an elected member of local government for more than 13 years, 8 of which as the Mayor of Coonamble.
Tim’s experience in remote North Western New South Wales provides him with a unique understanding of the challenges facing Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islanders.
