SKILLED BASED DIRECTOR
Sophie has recently joined us as our second new Skills Based Director. Sophie is a lawyer and governance advisor with extensive experience in working across the health and community services sectors in a variety of senior executive and board roles. She is passionate about supporting Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations to deliver good, high quality care, led by local Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people who know what services and supports their communities really need to thrive.
In her time off, Sophie enjoys organising professional and local community events, walking her dog along the river or running around after her two young sons on the soccer field.
She is really excited to join Apunipima and is looking forward to learning more about our organisation and how she can support us and our Board into the future.
