Alister moved to Cairns in 2013 to pursue a fellowship in public health medicine with a focus on primary health care and health service administration in Far North Queensland. Alister has worked within Queensland Government Health Services, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Control Health Services sector and as part of the executive team at the Northern Queensland Primary Health Network.
