Cooktown Career Expo

Wednesday 13th October the Cooktown State School held a Career Expo at the PCYC.
Apunipima attended the Expo with Chianna Guivarra (HR), Kylee Fogarty (L&D) and Lyndell Gibson (Health Worker – Hope Vale). They were able to speak to over 100 students about our organisation, our services and types of positions we have.

The students were keen to discuss what they wanted to do after graduating with many showing interest in working in Health.
Other stalls included Rio Tinto, JCU, Skill 360, Torres and Cape Hospital and Health Service, Regional Arts Service Network, Mi Haven Training, Cook Shire Council, ACCCO, QLD Ambulance, Police, Fire and Rescue Services.
