Johanna Neville awarded 2019 Excellence in Remote Health Practice Award.

With all her years of experience servicing remote communities it isn’t a surprise Johanna was awarded the Cranaplus Excellence in Remote Health Practice Award at this year’s Cranaplus Conference held in the Hunter Valley on the 19th of September.

Recipients of the Excellence in Remote Health Practice Award are to be a remote and isolated health profession that not only demonstrates excellence within their field but has a high level of commitment to their profession and be considered by their colleagues as a professional role model.

Melinda Hammond, Population Health and Program Strategy Manager commented on how Jo goes above and beyond in her role.

“Not a day goes past without Jo’s phone running hot from Midwives, Child Health Nurses or Indigenous Health Workers, seeking her guidance on an operational, community or more strategic issue. Johanna always endeavours to be highly accessible to her colleagues delivering services to Cape communities.”

Well done Jo on receiving such a prestigious award.
