Mossman Gorge has a range of facilities including the renowned Mossman Gorge Centre, an Aboriginal eco-tourism initiative featuring an art gallery, café and low-emission shuttle bus which takes visitors to the World Heritage listed gorge.
Visitors to Mossman Gorge are encouraged to take part in the Ngadiku Dreamtime Walk which features a traditional smoking ceremony and Kuku Yalanji sites and stories.
Mossman Gorge also has a Wellbeing Centre, Art Shed and Opportunity Hub which provides free community programs including money management services, parenting courses, purchasing programs and gardening support.
Mossman Gorge is also home to BamangaBubuNgadimunku Inc. (BBN), the community’s governing body.
Mossman Gorge is around 10 minutes from the sugar town of Mossman which has primary schools and a high school, shops, accommodation and a small hospital.
