Overview
Laura is a small remote township 290 kilometers north west of Cairns which is the nearest major city. Laura is the gateway to Cape York and the Lakefield National Park. During the tourist season from April to October as many as 80,000 tourists pass through.
The unofficial area covered by this clinic is from Lakeland Downs north to Hann River and west to Palmerville.
